The challenge
Health products need to translate sensitive, sometimes complex information into a flow that feels understandable and respectful. For Sheknowmics, the product also had to connect what a person sees in the app with the information and workflows clinicians need to support consultations.
The work began while the startup was still refining its story and product direction. That made fast, connected design-and-build loops more useful than treating the website, app and portal as separate projects.
Designing one experience across three surfaces
The consumer app focuses on cycle tracking, fertile-window predictions and an AI health companion. The website introduces the product story, its features and its AI guidance in Hindi and English. The doctor portal brings weekly availability, appointments, prescriptions and analytics into one working space.
- Consumer flows that make the next action clear without overwhelming people.
- A marketing site that explains the product in both Hindi and English.
- Doctor-facing workflows for scheduling, appointments and prescriptions.
- A shared product language across the public site and operational tools.
How the work moved
Rather than perfecting a disconnected design handoff, the product was shaped through decisions that could be tested in the working experience: what information belongs in a flow, what needs to be visible to a clinician, and what the website has to explain before someone commits to trying the app.
That is the advantage of design and development working together early. Constraints become product decisions, not late-stage surprises.
What shipped
The delivered work covers the Sheknowmics mobile app, its public website and a doctor-side portal. Together, they support the consumer journey from learning about the product to using it and connecting with clinical support.
“Ayush built our entire app and website while we were still figuring out our pitch deck. He moves faster than teams five times the size.”Priya Sharma — Sheknowmics
What this approach is useful for
Founders building a first product often need the app, the marketing surface and the operational tools to agree with each other before they can learn from real users. A connected scope prevents the user experience from breaking at the seams between those systems.
Questions this case study answers
Why build the app, website and portal together?
They serve different people, but they share the same product promise. Designing them together keeps the public story, user journey and operational workflow consistent.
What should a first health-product release focus on?
Start with the clearest valuable user journey, the information needed to make it trustworthy and the operational workflow required to support it.
Have a product taking shape?
I can help turn the important user journey into a focused, working release.
